Welcome to the NC Council on the Holocaust resource website

Each year, we host a number of workshops and webinars across the state to provide teachers with training and resources for teaching the Holocaust in their classrooms. On this site, you will be able to see the schedule for the current school year, register for a workshop near you, and download the resources for the workshop you will be attending.

Beginning in 2023, teachers will also be able to access curriculum resources provided by the NC Department of Public Instruction and the NC Council on the Holocaust as a result of the Gizella Abramson Holocaust Education Act

We are excited to invite teachers in North Carolina to join us as we learn how to teach effectively about the Holocaust. If you attend our professional development, not only will you gain valuable resources you can immediately use in your classroom, but you will also hear from a Holocaust survivor, which will impact the way you teach your students. We hope that you will join us in learning about the warning signs of the past so we can positively impact our future.
