Equipping Holocaust educators in North Carolina

Welcome to the NC Council on the Holocaust workshop resource website. Each year, we host a number of workshops across the state to provide teachers training and resources for teaching the Holocaust in their classrooms. On this site, you will be able to see the schedule for the 2022-2023 school year (once it is posted in the fall of 2022), register for a workshop near you, and download the resources for the workshop you will be attending. We also now offer classroom-tested lessons in our teacher resources section for both middle and high school teachers. We are working to bring you even more resources as our education committee creates them.

We are excited to invite teachers in North Carolina to join us as we learn how to teach about the Holocaust. Not only will you gain valuable resources you can immediately use in your classroom, but you will also hear from a Holocaust survivor, which will impact the way you teach your students this year. We hope that you will join us in learning about the warning signs of the past so we can positively impact our future.
