Each year, the North Carolina Council on the Holocaust can provide some classroom sets of books related to the study of the Holocaust for teachers in the state who demonstrate a need. The available sets of 25-30 books are all titles from the Holocaust curriculum resources for the state of North Carolina. Please fill out the application below to place your request. Not all requests can be funded, as funds are limited. You will be notified if you are chosen for a class set of books.
If you have received a class set of books from the NC Council on the Holocaust in the last two years, you are not eligible to receive a class set for this school year.
Also, if your school had a teacher receive books in the last year, you must wait another year to apply.
Lists of teachers who have been awarded books in the last two years and schools that received books last year are in the application.
