2022 State of North Carolina Holocaust Commemoration

Each year the State of North Carolina commemorates the victims of the Holocaust in the spring. The 2022 State of North Carolina Holocaust Commemoration was held in-person Sunday, April 24, 3:30-5 pm, in the open-air sports pavilion on the David R. Kahn Community Campus of The Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary,  Produced by the N.C. Council on the Holocaust, N.C. Dept. of Public Instruction.

2021 State of North Carolina Holocaust Commemoration

2019 Ben Ferencz Video for North Carolina State Holocaust Commemoration

Each year, the NC Council on the Holocaust holds a commemoration for victims of the Holocaust. In 2019, Ben Ferencz, the last living prosecutor of the Nuremberg Trials, recorded a video for the Council about his experiences, lessons learned, and advice for the world now. He also shared his connections with North Carolina.
