2023 State of North Carolina Holocaust Commemoration
Each year the State of North Carolina commemorates the victims of the Holocaust in the spring. The 2023 State of North Carolina Holocaust Commemoration will be held in-person Sunday, April 16, 3:00-4:30 pm, on the NC State campus at the McKimmon Center. 2019 Ben Ferencz Video for North Carolina State Holocaust Commemoration
Each year, the NC Council on the Holocaust holds a commemoration for victims of the Holocaust. In 2019, Ben Ferencz, the last living prosecutor of the Nuremberg Trials, recorded a video for the Council about his experiences, lessons learned, and advice for the world now. He also shared his connections with North Carolina.
