SOCIAL STUDIES – HIGH SCHOOL – AMERICAN HISTORY CURRICULUM RESOURCES
When the curriculum resources for social studies courses were developed, it was focused on aligning the standards for social studies classes in both middle and high school with the resources that would best fit each standard. Since each school and district may teach the courses differently, either chronologically or thematically, teachers can choose which standards best teach the Holocaust to their students and how they teach. It is not required that teachers utilize the curriculum resources, but that they choose the most relevant and appropriate materials based on the grade or course being taught.
