Suitcase Exhibit

Eight Suitcases Containing Artifacts and Resources from the Holocaust

Exhibit Information

Each suitcase contains artifacts and other teaching resources to bring alive the experiences of young people and adults during the Holocaust. These suitcases were put together to tell the story of the Holocaust, and the artifacts were carefully selected from antique shops in NC to represent the experience of Holocaust survivors. These selections were made with input from Holocaust survivors and their children, as well as historical research.

Teaching guidance and resources are included. Each region has two suitcases for loan, so contact your regional exhibit coordinator to find out which suitcases are available in your area. See the list of suitcases and their contents below. Reserve for a one-two week period.
